Lunch Box Trolleys

Thanks for dropping into our lunch box trolleys for schools section where, as you would expect, we have a varied choice of lunchbox trolleys for schools. Our standard large lunchbox trolleys, medium lunchbox trolleys and small lunchbox trolleys still remain firm favourites within schools, but with the ever increasing awareness of healthy eating our fruit trolleys are becoming a popular choice.

Our MZ Fruit Trolley is colourful and robust, with eight clear plastic containers and a strong steel frame which is available in seven vibrant colours. The MZ is delivered free to the mainland UK, assembled and ready to use. It also comes complete with four large castor style wheels, two of which are lockable to prevent classroom fruit fights!

It is thought that lunchboxes were first used by American factory workers during 19thcentury. Some of the earliest examples would have been knitted baskets complete with handles or if you were wealthy you got to carry a fancy wooden box. Recycled biscuit tins were also commonly used in the early 1800s. The 1860’s saw patents for lunchboxes appearing and the first licenced character lunchbox (Mickey Mouse) was produced in 1935. It was a lithographed oval tin, with a pull-out tray inside. Many variations using various materials followed but it wasn’t until the 1960s that the first moulded plastic lunchboxes were produced, a lunchbox more in line with what our children are taking to school today.

We are confident that our lunch box trolleys for schools section offering will accommodate any size or shape of lunchbox.
